This
chocolate bhut jolokia is a natural variant of Bhut Jolokia. They have selected the
chocolate bhut in successive generations
to give a pure variety. The chilli has a
pungency level similar to the red Bhut Jolokia.
The world’s hottest chilli is the Bhut Jolokia
originating in Assam in North East India with an official Scoville heat rating (SHU) of 1,001,304 SHU twice that of the previous record holder, the Red Savina.
